Segul SEGULL fra Stora Hof more Segull  photos

Sire: Thattur fra Kirkjubaer 722 (Elite Stallion)
Dam: Nott fra Kroggulfsstodum (Elite Mare)

Color: Bay.  Born 1986 in Iceland.

Segull came from Iceland in 1995. He is a First Class stallion and scored a total of 8.37 for conformation and 8.19 for riding. In 1994 he received the second highest score for conformation in all of Iceland and his picture was printed in the Icelandic Breeding Journal with the comment "An example of how the Icelandic Horse should be built". Both of Segull's parents have achieved the highly sought after title ELITE HORSES and Segull is only the second stallion sired by two Elite horses to have been exported from Iceland. Segull is one of the highest evaluated stallion in North America and we are happy and honoured to have been able to bring a stallion of such magnitude to Canada.

Besides his impressive pedigree and evaluation scores Segull displays brilliant gaits and a very natural tolt. He has a very nice disposition and can be handled and ridden by children. Segull will be an excellent addition to the Canadian and US breeding of Icelandic horses and brings us even closer to our goal of breeding natural tolting, easy going family horses who can also excel in competitions.

Stud fee $650.00    Purebred Icelandic mares only.    Live foal guarantee.

BragurBragur fra Midsitju

Sire:Polki fra Tunsbergi

Bragur was imported from Iceland before he was trained and has produced a number of offspring in Canada and the US. He is an exceptionally attractive silver dapple stallion with a dark dappled body and white mane. He passes his color on to many of his offspring. Bragur is very easy to ride and uncomplicated to handle. He is polite when breeding the mares and no problem to ride with geldings and other mares. Bragur made his show debut at Spruce Meadows in Calgary in September 2003.

As an untrained 4-year-old, this grandson of the Honour Stallion Nattfari scored 8.19 for conformation. Bragur is five gaited with a strong pace. Bragur will stand at stud for part of the year with his owner in California and part of the year in Vernon, BC. Early bookings advisable.

Stud fee $700.00    Purebred Icelandic mares only.    Live foal guarantee.

UndriUndri fra Icelandic Horse Farm

Sire: Lettir fra Ey
Dam: Thruma fra Skridulandi

Color: Brown and white pinto.   Born: 2001 in California.

Undri's mother is a natural tolter and his father our beloved stallion Lettrir fra Ey who has given us over 150 foals. Undri is a solid stallion, 13.3 hands and easy to deal with. He inherited Lettir's rocking horse canter and good disposition. Undri bred 5 mares when he was 3 years old and 4 of the 5 foals born were pintos, all from solid coloured mares. We are impressed with his first crop of foals and are pleased to offer Undri at stud to purebred, registered Icelandic mares. Undri is DNA typed and registered in Canada and the US, so registering any offspring in the US won't be a problem.

Stud fee $600.00    Purebred Icelandic mares only.    Live foal guarantee.

BangsiBangsi fra Iliff's Icelandics

Sire: Segull fra Stora Hof
